8 year old James Dorbor contracted Ebola and collapsed in front of his father. In this shot by Daniel Berehulak, health workers carry the boy off for treatment, though he died of the disease shortly afterwards.

California has recently witnessed one of the worst droughts in its history. In some lakes, the drought resulted in up to to 90% water loss. This aerial photo, by Tomas van Houtryve, shows house boats packed close together on a much shallower than usual, Lake Oroville. The shot was taken using an aerial drone.
