Photographer Bartek Olszewski shot this amazing photo of two rutting stags. He had just entered London’s Richmond Park when he found them battling.
The battle lasted only a few seconds, but Bartek came prepared. He had his camera ready and as a result, his shot made it to National Geographic’s Photo of the Day.
This is a clear example of the kind of images you can capture if you are well prepared. Have your camera in your hand and know it inside out. Especially when there is a chance of coming across such wildlife.
Pro and semi-pro cameras support custom modes. Keep them configured for various situations so you don’t have to tinker with the settings. Also be sure to use a suitable lens. Changing lenses at such a time could mean a lost opportunity. via
I would love to use this image on a slide for an anatomy presentation that I teach. It would not be printed out or displayed on the internet. Would there be any chance of gaining permission to do so? Thank you
